今天分享一首来自Steel Prophet(钢铁先知乐队）的《Earth and Sky》。
小E偏爱旋律线条突出的重金属，所以今天来一首这样的歌曲。《Earth and Sky》来自Steel Prophet签约Nuclear Blast（核爆炸）之后发行的第二张专辑2000年的《Messiah 》，这是他们最后的速度金属杰作。大量的低音提琴，令人敬畏的干净的人声，狂躁的吉他和有活力的歌词。这支乐队并没有为了吸引新观众而尝试“现代”的声音，而是坚持自己的风格。
Steel Prophet是一支来自美国的重金属乐队，上一世纪80年代末由吉他手Steve Kachinsky Blakmoor和歌手Gary Stocking在康涅狄格州成立的。粉丝们都称他们为Hard Prophet，乐队的音乐受Queen 和 Pink Floyd的影响最大，也受 Judas Priest, Metallica, Yes, Forbidden, 和Sabbath等乐队的影响。他们的成员变化太大我们就不说了。
1990年乐队发行《Inner Ascendance》的小样，在欧洲大受好评，光碟还被盗版了。1995年他们发行了第一张专辑《The Goddess Principle》，因为刚开始签约的Foundations 2000 公司并没有帮他们发行和宣传，所以影响力也不是很大。后来他们签约了德国的公司Nuclear Blast（核爆炸）公司。但德国的公司在美国的名声不是很好，所以他们始终是地下乐队。知道的人也不多。可惜呀。
