曾博洋 ，湖北武汉人，现就读于武汉理工大学管理学院2019级会计ACCA专业，这位1901班级班长，热爱中国传统历史文化和武汉当地传统习俗。在一次英文课堂上，用流利地英文，向我们讲述“武汉人与武汉精神”的故事，赢得了全体师生的赞扬！一位非英语专业的学生，敢于在英文老师面前讲英文，这位武汉小伙子不是在向我们昭示武汉精神吗？

Dear teacher and friends,hello everyone!
Before my speech starts.I’d like to ask you some simple questions.It’sbeen two years since you came to study in Wuhan.what’s your first impression on Wuhan people? Loud? Rude?or enthusiastic?Has your impression changed? Do youenjoy being with them? As a Wuhan person,I can assure you that the spiritualqualities of Wuhan people may quite different from what you mightexpect.Today, I’d like to inform you of the remarkable qualities of Wuhan peopleand how they influence our life
Looking back to History,Wuhan is originated from wharf, and theculture of Wuhan is deeply influenced by it. Wuhan people hate to hide theiremotion. We always straightforward to show our likes or dislikes. As stated inRead the country of Yi Zhongtian,Wuhan people are“always take action when it is necessary”. And that may be the reason of the old impression of impatience andrude. At the beginning, you may feel unbearable,but once you stay here for acouple of time, being straightforward isjust our way to show our warmth.It’s easy to make friends with Wuhan peoplesince they are straightforward to show their opinions,and they are are alwaystheir for you when needed.
Wuhan,a city going through so many disasters like flood andcovid-19,is also a city of heroes.Steeling ourselves by Wuhan’s daily extremeweather and difficult terrain from of old, we have formed the quality oftenacious. The people of Wuhan never yield to difficulties,they unite and riseto the challenge.you can see from the news,no matter how old you are,we arealways together to fight once there are emergencies. Wuhan people are sodetermined that they never surrender to disasters
The last quality of Wuhan people I will introduce is the reformquality. There is an interesting saying: The first person to eat crab,whichperfectly describes us. No need to emphasize, I think all of you are familiarwith the first shot of the 1911 Revolution,which sounded the death knell offeudal society.But apart from that ,I’d like to share with you another story,in 1979, the beginning of reform and open up, Zheng Juxuan led 103 unemployedpeople to set up stalls along Hanzheng Street in Wuhan City, marking thebeginning of the reform of the national commodity circulation system and formedthe famous small commodity market "Hanzhengjie" mode. Just as thespirit of Wuhan says:“Daring to bethe first and striving for excellence.”
From above , I think you may have a different impression about Wuhanpeople.The development of Wuhan is inseparable from the people with these rarequalities，and the future of thecity and her people is going to be brighter and brighter.
