Expressman: Excuse me, you have a package with cash on delivery?

Recipient: But I don’t shop online lately? What’s that with RMB 39?

Recently, the similar express scams just emerge one after another such as cash on delivery with RMB 39. As a result, there are plenty of people who are cheated with financial losses. Nowadays, you can shop online with whatever you need from the daily necessities to household items. Receiving package is a daily ritual for the shopaholics who are crazy about online shopping. If they don’t receive a package one day, they must feel uncomfortable and doubtable. Consequently, they easily relax their vigilance when they accept their packages. After paying and accepting, they find out that they are being deceived till they go back to home and unpack them!

The above victims are pretty lucky in some ways with only 39 yuan. The below Mr. Chen costs over a thousand times of RMB 39. Usually, he is fond of regimen and hygiene. One day, he received a parcel and felt inexplicable. What surprised him is the apparent listed name and address. And he didn’t purchase anything during that period.

Finally, he still opened the parcel and got some healthcare medicines and one lottery card.

In the evening, Mr. Chen got a greeting call from Mr. Huang who claimed to be the director of One Health Center of Shanghai. At that time, he didn’t make the whole thing clear. Firstly, the Director Huang inquired him whether he got the parcel or not. Second, Director Huang induced Mr. Chen to scratch off the anti-counterfeiting coating. And Mr. Chen did as he asked and found himself win a second prize in the lottery with a bonus of RMB 300,000. I can’t understand why Mr. Chen believed it. And Director Huang congratulated him and informed that he should pay for RMB 1700 for the service charge. Mr. Chen had doubts about the truth of what he said. In order to win Mr. Chen’s trust, Director Huang said Mr. Chen could only pay for RMB 1000 which is the most favorable price and he could pay RMB for Mr. Chen. What’s more, Director Huang promised to send him the medicines later on. A few days later, Mr. Chen received medicines from Director Huang and he sent Director Huang RMB 1000. Subsequently, Director Huang tried to make Mr. Chen send him money with various excuses such as the insurance charge and the tax fee. Back and forth, Mr. Chen sent Director Huang some money. All of a sudden, one day Mr. Chen found there’s something wrong with the prize. And he tried to call Director Huang, but no one answered. Later, Mr. Chen just called the police.

Fortunately, Mr. Chen had the courage to call the police and provided no opportunity for the criminals who could hang out at large. On the contrary, some people didn’t tend to call the police when they were cheated for the unknown reasons. Here, I just offer a piece of kind-hearted advice that don’t hesitate to call the police when you encounter something illegal.

Otherwise, Miss Tang confronted the similar thing who comes from Tianjin. During getting her parcel, the courier borrowed her mobile suddenly. After she returned back to her office with the package, she found there was no signal with her phone. Then, he found there was no SIM card and she connected on WIFI. Updated news constantly jumped out from the mobile banking APP. To her surprise, a sum of RMB 120,000 was totally transferred in several minutes. Oh, my gosh, she lost RMB120,000 during picking up the parcel. What a uneconomic deal it is!
