8.1  The Standardized Operation Sheet –标准作业指导书

The SOS is the Standardized Operation Sheet.       SOS是标准作业指导书的简称

It is a chart showing the outline of work for each worker(ONE OPERATOR PER SHEET).

It records essential elements plus other information suchas quality checks and safety warning symbols

It is displayed at each job site

Steps to Create the SOS:标准作业指导书制作步骤

1.      Draw theequipment (process) layout on the diagram. Show the relative position of all machines, worktables, vehicles, partsbins and pallets used by ONE OPERATOR. Label each with the appropriate name and / or number.

2.      Enter thesequence for which the employee performs the work by numbering the diagrambased on the Standardized Work Combination Table or the Time MeasurementSheet.  Connect the sequence numbers witha solid line with an arrow at the end showing direction of movement.  Use a dashed line to show the return from thelast work element, back to the first work element.

3.      Indicate theappropriate symbols for each element (i.e. Safety, Quality, etc.) in the chart.

Note:  The StandardIn-Process Stocks symbol is to be placed where the part is waiting.  If there is an automatic eject with a chuteon the machine, the symbol goes at the end of the chute.

4.      Fill in TaktTime and the Cycle Time.

5.      Sign and datethe form.
