In the Shangli Ancient Town, Ya’an
“Han family’s silver, Yang family’s officials, Chenfamily’s millet s, Zhang family’s fists, and Xu family’s girls.” – A folk proverb in Shangli
Let tea be as mysterious as horse in the dictionary.
The moonlight on the Pingshui Bridge is paved evenly by land of slogans.
Ya’an fish on the bed board gives birth to
Handmade maps with oil color.
The ample space bought is fixed in the eyes of the Han mansion,
While the narration bought looks like a silver ingot,
Which gets thinner each time it’s read by someone.
To let the cars sleep under the straw of economy.
The plaque is hung on the gate as if an official seal was dried into bacon.
The official cap with red-hot characters on it
Was worn by the post station officer surnamed Yang at the safe place. The tea leaves recorded in the county annals
Cannot be pierced by any blade or spear.
The twitters over Chen family’s millet field are time-tested
To make wine, gentility, as well as the fists of the Zhang family.
The water of the Chen family is chewed into tea by the horse,
Rises up to the blue sky,
And becomes the clouds.
Then it falls down to Ya’an, penetrating the charms of the entire city.
The picturesque inns extend to the end. The Erxian Bridge
Puts vests on both immortals.
This life and the other shore are two ways
Of doing up a tea button.
(Notes: Fists, is commonly called Dingzi and Pituozi.)
