I would like to describe an ancient Chinese clothing, which is my favorite item among all the things in my wardrobe. I bought it for an unbelievably reasonable price in a store specifically selling traditional Chinese outfits. At that time, I was playing the part of swordsman in a fourteenth-century costume drama of China.

The whole piece of clothing looks like a bright red dress wrapped around the body with the left side over the right, which looks like a small letter “y” if you see it from the front. It is made of silk, with the edge of the collar decorated with dark patterns. A long waistband is tightly tied around the waist to form a knot down the front. Unlike most traditional costumes with the super large sleeves, my forearm is just like the narrow one tied up for the convenience ofswordplay. On my feet, there are a pair of dark-colored boots, which makes me look like a dashing swordsman. It is a cool piece of clothing that can tickle my imagination as if I were living in ancient times, but it’s a pity that I cannot wear it during my school days.
