125年，“我们爱的125本书”
纽约公共图书馆，全世界最著名的图书馆之一，藏有《古腾堡圣经》和牛顿的《自然哲学的数学原理》，纽约市民的好邻居蜘蛛侠曾骗伯父自己要到这儿来看书实际上偷偷去参加了地下格斗比赛。今年是图书馆建馆125周年，他们整理了过去125年来所出版的“我们爱的125本书”（125 Books We Love），以此庆祝图书馆长久的生命力，对知识的信任、尊重和自由开放的态度。
这些书涵盖了科幻、历史、传记、诗歌、文学、悬疑等等方面，我们的老朋友——阿加莎·克里斯蒂的《无人生还》和雷蒙德·钱德勒的《长眠不醒》也在其中。
在纽约公共图书馆的工作人员们看来，这些书最该受到表彰的，除了自身的优秀，更在于它们激发了人们对阅读的终生热爱。这125本书，仅仅只是一个开始。
