Bobi Wine says he has been jailed, detained, beaten and shot at more times than he can count.

Wine is the main opposition candidate challenging Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in Thursday's election.

Just a few minutes into Tuesday's interview with Hot 96 FM, a commotion could be heard in the background as Wine explained that the Ugandan military had showed up at his home in the capital, Kampala.

"No reason for the arrest was given," he tweeted.
