Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?
一．语法部分
（一）how much和how many
1. 二者都可以用来问“多少”。但是how much只能用来问不可数名词，how many用来问可数名词。如：
How much cheese do we need?
How many bananas do you want?
2. how much 还可以用来问价格，如：
How much is the book?
It is 20 Yuan.
（二）不可数名词的量
不可数名词，如：cheese, milk等，不能用one, two, three等数词直接修饰，而要用特殊的量词，如：cup, glass,bottle等，如：
a bottle of milk
two cups of yogurt
three glasses of water
特别注意：在句型转换中，对不同的地方提问，要根据实际情况选择howmuch还是how many,试做：
We need five cups of milk.
We need five cups of milk.
（三）制作食品的过程
How do you make a banana milk shake?
First…, next…, then…, finally…
其中next和then的位置可以互换，其余不能换。
（四）“动词+副词” 短语
如果是人称代词，要放在“动词”和“副词”的中间，如果是名词，则放于中间和放于最后面均可，如：
cup up a banana
cut it up
常用的副词有：up, down, off, away,
二．词的用法
1. die 意为“死，死亡”。是不及物动词，如：
He died last year.
试区别：
die, V(动词)死，死亡
dead, adj(形容词)死的，死了的，如：
My dog is dead, so I’m sad.
death, n.(名词) 死亡，如：
My grandfather’s death made me very sad.
dying, adj(形容词)快死的，垂死的，如：
That man is dying.
