want sb to do sth还是want sb doing sth（正误辨）

表示“想要或希望某人做某事”，可以用 want sb. to do sth. 或者 want sb. doing sth.句型。但是，最好注意：（1）want sb. to do sth. 句型的例句在词典中很容易找到，这里就不举例了，在考试中，最好用这种句型。（2）want sb. doing sth.句型中的doing 是现在分词，不是动名词。这种句型中的want多用否定式，但是也可以用肯定式。因为很多词典没有提供例句，所以，容易被判为错误，所以，在考试中最好不用。以下例句均出自英语原著，转引自张道真主编的《现代英语用法词典》修订版：I don't want women medding in my affairs.
