摄影师Hayley Eichenbaum在美国西部旅行沿途中，拍摄了许多阳光下的彩色建筑。这位来自洛杉矶的女孩没有经过摄影的正规训练，但对形式和色彩有着惊人的敏感。她花了一个月的时间，开着自己的越野车游历了66号公路，四处寻找各种各样的色彩和几何图案，以及“枯萎与浪漫的美国“相关的复古标志和独特建筑。Hayley Eichenbaum习惯使用Nikon D7和自己的iphone记录生活。她没有拍海景、公路或者路边的森林，而是把镜头对准了沿路那些各具特色的小房子，以及背后灿烂的天幕。于是诞生了这个色调柔和、画面的干净的摄影系列。如今除非去到丛林或沙漠里，否则你已经很难拍到没有人工景观的纯粹景色了。在钢筋水泥的城市建筑中，再美的天空也会失去魅力，。Hayley找到了一个最好的平衡——这些色彩鲜亮的小屋子，因为有天空的装饰，更是美得自然清爽。Hayley Eichenbaum is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. She studied for several years at the San Francisco Art Institute before completing her BFA at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.An investigational attitude and elasticity among mediums comprise the bedrock of Eichenbaum’s practice. The work careens through the potentials of sculpture, time-based media, live performance, and photography.Eichenbaum examines notions of the façade. How does one preserve romance that is on the verge of decay? Eichenbaum aims to capture these hopeful circumstances, both within the architectural realm and the human body.
