于右任

庭后枯槐更着花，庭前风静树荫斜。

三间老屋今犹在，愧对流亡说破家。

于右任（1879-1964），陕西三原县人，政治家、教育家和书法家。曾长期任国民党政府监察院院长。著有《于右任诗词集》。

YU Youren (1879-1964), born in Sanyuan, Shaanxi Province. He was a statesman, an educator, and a calligrapher. Yu had served as President of the Procuratorate of Kuomingtang (KMT) government for many years. He authored Yu Youren’s Poetry Collection.（雷秋慧译）

My Old House

In the backyard, the old locust tree blooms;

In the front hall, shade aslant, wind’s at rest.

There, as e’er, stands an old house of three rooms,

A refugee I’m while our land’s hard pressed.
