王应敬，别名王静，号清心斋主，1942年出生，河南杞县人。幼承祖训，潜心丹青，立足传统，在中国著名牡丹之乡洛阳与牡丹耳鬓厮磨40余载，对洛阳牡丹怀有深厚的情愫，数十年来一直致力于牡丹小写意画法的研究，作品以中国传统的笔墨语言为本质，兼容西画的肌理效果，作品既注重意境的开拓、情感质感的表现，又强调浑厚稳重中的华滋斑斓，凸现鲜明的时代气息。
