 it的用法

1）作为人称代词代替上文中提到的无生命的东西。例如：

He used a dried leaf as a bookmark and put it between the pages.

他用干树叶作书签，夹在书页中间。

结构分析：He是主语，used是谓语，过去一般时，a dried leaf是宾语，as a bookmark是状语，and是连接词，put是谓语，过去一般时，it是宾语，between the pages是状语。

it也可以指幼儿或者动物。例如：

Look at the baby. It’s lovely.

瞧这孩子，多可爱。

结构分析：Look at是谓语，the baby是宾语。It是主语，is是be动词，lovely是表语，是主系表结构。

it 有时可以代替上下文中提到的事情或者情况。例如：

The teacher kept telling Judy to pay attention to spelling, but it didn’t help.

老师一再要裘迪注意拼写，可没有用。

结构分析：The teacher是主语，kept是谓语，过去一般时，telling Judy to pay attention to spelling是-ing式词组作宾语，but是连词，表示转折，it是主语，didn’t help是谓语。
