【功能英文】好奇杀死猫！Curiosity killed the cat!
人总是有好奇心的，不但是小朋友，大人也有。对发生的事、自己未知的事总是很好奇想知道。这时候，我们就用得上以下这些句了！
常用的是what引起的问句：
Hey, what’s up here?
嗨，这儿怎么啦？
What’s going on?
发生什么事啦？
What’s on your mind?
你在想什么呢？
加上“on earth”可以加强语气：
Why on earth are you laughing?
你究竟在笑什么？
问过去的事，一定要记得用过去时：
What happened then?
接着怎么了？/后来呢？
Can someone tell me when it happened?
有人能告诉我是什么时候发生的吗？
“Do you happen to know…?”这个句型很有用，其中的“happen”是指“碰巧；刚好”：
Do you happen to know anything about his problems?
你会不会刚好知道他的问题吗？
可用以下句型表达一下想知道的愿望：
I’d love to know about the plan.
我想知道这个计划。
I’d like to know how they managed to do it.
我很想知道他们是怎样做成这事的。
这个更夸张一些，“I’d give a lot to know…”，哇，愿意付出很多来满足好奇心：
I’d give a lot to know about how the car accident really happened.
我很想知道车祸到底是怎么发生的。
用“I wish…”这个虚拟语气句型语气会较委婉：
I wish someone would tell me the secret.
但愿有人会告诉我这个秘密。
另一个委婉的句型“I wonder if…”：
I wonder if you could tell me the reason.
不知你能否把原因告诉我。
用上关键词“interested（有兴趣知道）”和“curious（好奇的）”：
I’m very interested in discovering who he was.

I’m rather curious to know about the details of the merger.
