剑桥大学流行病专家:我们是如何忘记瘟疫的

在过往的70年中,这些生活在富裕国家中的人已经逐渐失去了对瘟疫和危险传染病的警惕。受益于更好的疫苗,医疗设施的进步,以及包括抗生素在内的药物开发,致命传染病已从我们的视野中消失。然而从全球尺度来衡量,传染病和瘟疫依然在贫穷地区肆虐。在新冠疫情之际,生活在富裕世界的人们有必要重拾应对流行病的了解。
