Eye of Eyes
POEM
after Carol Rama
sunstroke hits me like a falling
chandelier
on the last day
a mess of larvae
crawl inside my
mind
and out my mouth
the soles of my feet
are shredded
bright color
and open at the sky
non unitary love
odd dispersal
my sanguine days
were ended with a hit
from above
I might break from
my solitary shell
my private tragedy
with the fluids of
a body and its shatters
and a mouth that dwarfs
my form
my reticence
to be known
because I am an animal
I blunder
