2021年的动漫新作里，

“国风”依然是重要元素。

《我师兄实在太稳健了》

《三十六骑》

《大明长歌》……

作品以动画形式解构历史传奇，

幻想融入当代流行，

这些已经是“国风”作品的标配。

比如根据东汉班超故事改编的

《三十六骑》，

西域历史X恢弘想象，

给予传统文化新的解读视角。

科幻风同样没有缺席，

设定背景在2056年的《黑门》，

人类已经可以进入自身的大脑探索，

在微观人脑中，

科学家发现了一个

比真实宇宙更深邃的“脑宇宙”

Animating China

The year 2021 will be a great year for fans of Chinese animation! According to news website TMT, 188 Chinese animated series will come out in 2021 on Tencent Video, iQiyi, Youku and Bilibili.

Among them are new seasons of older shows, including the fourth season of Douluo Dalu (《斗罗大陆4》) and the second season of Shaonian Gexing (《少年歌行2》). Fans of Modao Zushi (《魔道祖师》) will see the series finally come to an end.

Nearly half of the new works are done in the “guofeng (国风)” style, or “traditional Chinese style”. Their stories might come from Chinese myths (神话) and literature (文学). For example, The Westward (《西行纪》) comes from Journey to the West (《西游记》). Thirty-Six Knights (《三十六骑》) is based on the true story of General Ban Chao. He governed (治理)  Xiyu (西域) during the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 - 220).

“Viewers are interested in looking at traditional culture from new angles (角度),” TMT said. “The industry is also backing up such works. It’s a good way to promote (弘扬) Chinese culture.”

There will also be more sci-fi series. For example, Hei Men (《黑门》) is set in 2056, when humans can enter their own brains and explore the universes they have inside themselves. Forerdinati (《银河之心》) is about how humans deal with threats (威胁) from civilizations from outer space. The trailers (预告片) for these series have already received a lot of praise for their visual effects (视觉效果) and plots.

“People are becoming increasingly interested in sci-fi stories,” TMT said. “This trend might lead to a rise of Chinese animated works in this genre (类型).”
