1 turn off 表示使失去兴趣 (turn 转身，off 和...有一定距离，是不是没有兴趣了呢)如：

He really turns me off. 他真让我不喜欢。（任何人物类话题哦）

The flick genuinely turns me off. 这部电影真让我不喜欢。 （电影，电视剧等话题哦）

The book really turns me off. 这书这让我不喜欢。（书这个话题哦）

2 turn off 表示关掉，切断 （turn转身，off 和什么有一定距离，脱离，脱离了原来的状态哦，比如关水，关电，关火，关发动机等）

如：

The driver turned the car off. 司机把汽车熄火了。(旅行，交通等话题哦)

The water is still running, due to the fact that I forgot to turn it off. 水还在流呢，因为我忘了关水。（遗忘这个话题哦）
