I was told that my son could never do well with maths. This fantastic book arrived today and he was apprehensive to start with but then sat down and completed 5 pages straight away! Amazing! So glad I tried this system as I homeschool him now. We will definitely be investing in the other books in the series.

Looks really good. Paper is thin but this shouldn't cause too many problems. Content of maths, the progression and clarity will make this a worthwhile purchase for any teacher or parent. Very pleased.

A really good book if you’re looking for ideas to deepen children's understanding in maths.

This book is printed on the worst quality paper I have seen since I lived in China. When you look at a page you can clearly see the print on its reverse as well as the print on the page behind. You can also see darker parts of the reverse of the page behind! This makes every page difficult and unpleasant to read. The idea that this kind of paper is suitable for use in a classroom textbook for children who have just turned seven is ridiculous.

I agree that the paper quality is not the best, but the publisher didn't charge you a premium price and the content of the book is first class.

Early days but so far so good. My son is building his knowledge brick by brick, most importantly with no gaps in his mathematical wall as his knowledge grows. Very thorough. One downside would be that me and my wife scratch our heads with how some of the questions are described.
