Are you a good friend to yourself?
你是自己的好朋友吗?
When you take the growth course to overcome some difficulties in life, your teacher will probably ask you to love yourself at first. Someone may feel confused about how to do it. Here is one simple standard: “Are you a good friend to yourself?”
当你的生活遇到困境,你去上成长课程的时候,你的老师很有可能会邀请你先爱自己,很多朋友困惑,我怎么做才是爱自己,有个简单的标准, “你是自己的好朋友吗? ”
Please refresh your memories, when you failed an exam, were you downhearted or full of energy to tell yourself you are the best and just keep trying? When you broke up with someone, were you upset or did you decide never to fall in love again, or just gave a warm embrace to yourself and comforted yourself like a good friend did? When you have a lot of work to do, will you try your best to work hard, or have a big feast and relax yourself a little bit?
请你回忆日常的生活中,当你考试失利,你是会说“我太笨了”,还是像好朋友一样告诉自己“没关系,我相信你,继续努力”;当你失恋,你是会说“都怪我乱发脾气,我再也不会恋爱了”,还是像好朋友一样给自己一个安慰的拥抱,说“亲爱的,你失恋了,你很难过,这不是你的错,照顾好自己,我在陪着你,而且你会好起来的”?当你有很多工作要做,你是带着疲惫拼命工作,还是像好朋友一样请自己吃营养的食物,让自己小憩一会儿?
Dear friend, will you feed yourself when you are hungry? Are you being good to yourself? Sometimes we hope that there is someone who can help us, but if not, can you take care of yourself? If the answer is no, I think you are a bad friend to yourself. How about learning to be good to yourself, you will get better later.
