【每日一练】have the guts
have the guts
You can say: Someone who has the courage and determination to do something difficult or unpleasant has the guts to do it.
I don’t have the guts to tell Mom about it.
I don't have the guts to go on the roller coaster.
He doesn't have the guts to ask her on a date.
She finally had the guts to tell her husband the truth.
Do you have the guts to dive off the high board?
I don’t think he has the guts to quit his job.
Ok, that’s it for today.
Question:
Do you have the guts to do
what you really want to do?
Now it's your time to open your mouth and practice!
Have fun learning English!
