流氓把警察捉住

罪犯宣判法官死刑

囚犯用心脏射穿子弹

纪念日从日历上一页页擦去

那就是说

食物切碎牙齿

自由制裁法律

那就是说

妓女给嫖客付费

人民收受钱物

干部全部下岗

此后

干部们天天挤公交车

整天为子女们的学费生活费发愁

在洗脚屋给老百姓当三陪

在中关村倒卖盗版光盘

而人民

从此过上了美好生活

Swapping Positions

A rascal catches a policeman

A criminal sentences a judge to death

Food squashes the teeth

Freedom sanctions the law

A prostitute pays her client the fees

People receive bribes

And all the cadres are laid off

Always worrying about their kids’ livingstipend and tuition cost

Having to work as escorts in footbathhouses

And sell pirate CDs in Zhongguancun
